This is very much more versatile than the electronic Tanpuras you can buy in the market. You can adjust the tempo of play (how fast of slow the tanpura string is plucked). Choose any of the 12 notes in the octave, and any of the 9 octaves that the human ear is capable of hearing! You can also enable of disable Madhyam, Pancham or Nishad, depending on the raga (raaga) that you are going to play/sing.

The ultimate music utility for a Carnatic/Hindustani vocalist or instrumentalist. You can even plug this into your performance amp and get rid of the Tanpura players.
